So, I'm a little concerned
Because for the past hour, what have I done?
That's right, y'all. I've been asleep at my desk.
Like, literally sound asleep.
Here's what I DIDN'T do:
Go for a healthy walk in the sunshine, because it's gorgeous here.
But instead I totally slept. And although my cubicle mates sit around the corner, one sits within a line of sight, and I think she MAY have noticed me being asleep for an hour--more like an hour and a half. AND she's a SNITCH.
Fortunately, as of last week I could do no wrong. So we'll hope my brownie points carry me through...
...but as my dad says, so eloquently, 'It only takes one "whoops" to wipe out ten "atta-girls".'
Maybe I should get more sleep at night. Hmmmm.

this is in response to ur question on my blog-- yes i'm really deaf -- well i'm hard of hearing (i hate that terminology). i can hear most things, just i can't understand everything. it's made life a little more challenging.. but hey what's another challenge? =)
an old co-worker of mine used to take naps (upright in her chair, in plain view of everyone) all the time... it took them months before they talked to her about it. I bet your brownie points easily carry you past one little cat nap!
UPDATE: Now I have BLACKMAIL on my boss. I saw him SMOKING! SECRETIVELY! And then he came back into the office THREE HOURS LATER with a GALLON of cologne on!
Hehehehehehehehehehe.
blackmail is always useful in these situations... ;-)
and thanks for return blog-stalking. you can totally borrow my li(n)es.
One little nap can't get you in that much trouble. Especailly with your secret blackmail back-up. When I had an actual office, with a door that could be closed and locked, I must say I spent some days doing more sleeping than working. That place blew, so I don't feel too bad about it ;)
Don't even worry about it. Just say that you have been working so hard that you felt asleep at the desk if they ever bring it up. Then ask them.. would they rather lose an hour (and a half) of productivity from you cause you fell asleep, or would they rather have you lose like countless man hours of work because of a miscalculation? ^_^
